San Pedro Road Slurry Seal Project – Community Notification

Dear Community Members and Coalition Partners,

We wanted to provide advance notice of upcoming activity at the San Rafael Rock Quarry related to the City/County San Pedro Road Slurry Seal Project.

This upcoming weekend and into the following week, a small portion of the quarry site will be made available as a staging and operations area for the project’s approved/assigned contractor- Graham Contractors. Work associated with the project is currently scheduled for:

Saturday, August 22nd and Sunday, August 23rd:  7:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Monday through Friday, August 24^th-28th: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

During these times, you may notice contractor vehicles, equipment and other activity entering, exiting, or operating within the quarry site.

This activity is being conducted in support of the City/County San Pedro Road project and is not associated with Dutra Materials’ operations or its permitted quarry activities.

We wanted to make sure our neighbors, and community partners were aware in advance so there is a clear understanding of the additional activity at the site.
